Introduction to Body Massage Course

Our body massage course includes a nationally recognised qualification.

After 15 years of teaching massage in colleges and the private sector I have designed this course to reflect how I feel is the best compromise to teach. It balances the need to fit education in to a busy life and also get all of the information you truly need.

I have a foundation degree in complementary therapies and 25 years’ experience carting out the treatment and do not feel this can be taught as a 1-day course. This course will also come with a VTCT level 3 qualification so there will be no future worries in regard to insurance or employment.

You will attend the centre for 4 days of classroom learning and will work on a range of real clients. You will be taught a range of practical skill and the theory to support this, including an in-depth view of biology.

You will then complete your home study and case studies and return for assessment.

It is also possible to cover additional units with us to gain either your full level 3 beauty qualification or a level 3 in complementary therapist

Body Massage is an extremely popular treatment that is continuing to grow and is essential for those wanting a holistic career as this course will allow you to develop your skills and train in other related courses such as our Hot Stone Massage Course and Pre Blend Aromatherapy.

How long is the course?

There is 4 days on site practical days, followed by home study and a return assessment day

Massage stimulates all of the bodies systems, increasing blood flow (circulating nutrients, antibodies, hormones and oxygen around the body). This helps to improve the condition of skin, hair and nails as well as providing effective cell renewal to the body. The lymphatic system is stimulated, pushing waste and water retention out of the body. The bodies’ energy systems are balanced bringing a deep relaxation to the body. Massage in all forms can help relieve aching muscles, tension, depression, insomnia, poor circulation, to name just a few.
